The Patient Services Support Representative is responsible for providing support and feedback to the third-party customer management agency for both EBO and Bad Debt, providing timely responses and questions and working various daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Providing strong customer service for Carolinas Pathology Group and Celligent Diagnostics' patients. Assist working encounter credits for both insurance and self-pay.

Essential Functions

• Monitor and disperse general voicemail box messages.
• Manage and process email inquiries and correspondence including but not limited to; reviewing patient accounts for resolution, assisting insurance companies with additional information, and transmitting required information to attorney offices.
• Oversee administration of daily, weekly, and monthly reports from outside agencies.
• Conduct patient satisfaction follow ups
• Review and adjust, if appropriate, charity accounts.
• Assist with departmental ad hoc projects on an as needed basis determined by AR Manager.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Educational/Training Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required

Experience Requirements

• 2-5 years in a medical billing environment is required
• Medical terminology experience, preferably in pathology is required
• Nextgen experience is a plus
• Realmed or similar experience is a plus
